The Brew Vol. 2: It Could All Be So Simple, But...

Soul Searchers, it may have just been me, but this was the most topsy-turvy week I've experienced in a while. Everything I thought I would say remained unsaid, or my mouth was practically forced to say something by some unexpected route. Every idea I was so sure of found its way back into the clouds to be reconsidered, again transfigured. Things have gotten done, and yet I find myself no closer to achieving my goals.

7 of Cups energy was in abundance this week. This card can talk about confusion, being spoiled for choice, but for me, it has been an energy of evaluation and re-evaluation, putting energy in its proper place (and in the right amount), and figuring out all of the roles that abound around me. It has been the biggest "are-you-sure-?", "hold-up-wait", "maybe-try-this" period of time. And although a part of me can appreciate the energy being thorough and precise, another part of me can't help but feel halted, stagnant, delayed. YET AGAIN.

The Embodiment Card this week, and perhaps for the next few weeks, is from The Divine Feminine Oracle by Meggan Watterson. Parvati's message to me was simple (on the surface): be devoted to yourself, first and foremost. "This should be easy," I thought. But I found myself battling all the things I thought were my "self". Those dreams that I thought were grounded before they floated back into the sky? My energy levels said, "That's fine, leave them there awhile." My intuition said, "In the meantime, what about this?" My ego said, "No thanks" to all of that and kept trucking along, creating content that at this point I'm not even sure will see the light of day. The thought of a whole week gone and time potentially wasted left me in a sour mood, which led to the cleansing bath I'm now writing to you from.

I decided I needed to nurture my "self" a bit, and that's when it hit me. I had overcomplicated things this week, as is my habit. Parvati asked me to be devoted to me, my "being". Not devoted to dreams, desires, goals, to-do lists, but devoted to the part of me that existed before I had anything to do, before the random identifiers existed for me to cling to. That part of me that just "is" without having to force or do or earn anything. The part of me that can and will just "be". As the saying that Wayne Dyer brought to the masses goes, we are "human beings, not human doings". For it's only in "being" that inspiration flows, not in clinging, grasping, or forcing.

So if you're feeling burnt out, scattered, or confused, place all of that down for a moment. It's okay to do so. Your "being" could use a break, and some attention, dedication, devotion.

As I move into Week 2 with Parvati's "devotion", I set the intention to learn to honor and be devoted to me. Some of the updates in this edition of The Brew represent a crumbling, others represent a progression, and others still represent a peace, a stillness, a hold. Either way, all of it is a true representation of where I am this week, a written devotional of where my being is landing at this time.

My question for you, dear Soul Searcher, is what about you? Where are you landing? What are you feeling? And can you learn to surrender to just "being"?

"7 of Cups" from the Rider Waite Smith Tarot

The perfect depiction of everything this week. It's all in the air, moving around as I try to find my place among it. But instead, I'm asked to find myself apart from it. Who am I, without these things?

I Posted On YouTube Everyday for 3 Months. Here's What I Learned.

What's Brewing on YouTube?

I'm going for the path of least resistance, contrary to how I've been moving for the past week 🙄. I'm being guided to tap into my life as it is currently, and to find the inherent spirituality therein. This means getting out of the house (gasp) and showing y'all my regular degular life. The few vlogs I've done seem to have interested y'all (it pulled in numbers somehow), so this week, I'm dedicating myself to getting out of my own way and allowing the content to be easy (audible gasps and uproar). We'll see how this goes.

What's Brewing on AriFalolu.com?

Y'all remember in last week's blog, I announced a new type of reading being offered on my website. Basically, it's a reading to channel the art that lives inside of you via song or poem? Yeah, well, welcome to the great deconstruction. It's not that that's going away entirely, but there will be changes coming to that process. This will be discussed in more detail in the next issue of The Brew, but if you see any changes on the website this week, that is why. Can't say I didn't warn you 😉

What's Brewing on OnlyFans?

Now that I have determined what sort of content does well on YouTube, and have kind of figured out a new posting schedule there, I have to do the same thing with OnlyFans. Prepare to see more diaries, channeled cooking messages, and (if my ego is on my side this time) more consistent posting. All with different levels of (un)dress of course. 😉 The blog won't allow me to link the video directly, so feel free to copy and paste this one for a little taste of what goes on over there (this one is free and PG, no nudity, just raw honesty): https://onlyfans.com/2704056807/ari.falolu
